Case Study: ALTA CONVENIENCE BILLBOARD REFRESH

A COMPLETE BILLBOARD REFRESH FOR A LONGTIME ULTIMAX CUSTOMER

Alta Convenience has relied on Ultimax for its visual graphics and signage needs for many years. When an aging billboard in Colorado's San Luis Valley needed attention, the project called for more than a new set of graphics. The existing billboard surface needed to be replaced.

The Challenge

The billboard's existing face consisted of wood and metal panels that had deteriorated over time and needed replacement.

Its location in the San Luis Valley added another consideration. Unlike a local installation in the Denver metro area, the project required coordinating materials, graphics production, and installation at a remote site.

The objective was to replace the deteriorating panels with a durable new surface capable of supporting Alta's updated advertising graphics.

The Solution

Ultimax replaced the existing wood and metal panels with aluminum composite material (ACM), a durable material well suited for outdoor signage.

The new advertising graphics were printed on vinyl and applied to the ACM panels before installation.

By coordinating the panel replacement, graphic production, and installation, Ultimax delivered a complete billboard face rather than simply supplying replacement graphics.

The Result

The completed project gave Alta Convenience a refreshed roadside billboard with a new ACM surface and updated advertising graphics.

The finished installation restored the billboard's appearance while providing a durable platform for Alta's advertising.

Alta's feedback on the completed project was enthusiastic:

“Fantastic job — very engaging and interactive.”

For Ultimax, the project reflects the value of a long-standing customer relationship: understanding the customer's needs and taking on the broader signage work when an existing installation needs to be replaced or rebuilt.
